"The Plant Composer"
Creating one-of-a-kind "plant compositions", in a variety of styles, using a large,
standardized plant pool. Installations are all done with standardized step-by-step procedures.
The designer is a Georgia Certified Landscape Professional.
The workers are all closely supervised and well instructed, and we all take pride
in a job well done!
Please take advantage
of our lower winter rates - with the GVLDS Landscape Foundation Installation - the perfect idea for all you "do-it-your-selfers".
Here is how it works - we will design and cut the bed areas, cultivate in , the best compost in the southeast, and then border
the bed areas with your choice of beautiful stones. ( We trench and set the stone into the ground to form a strong, permanent
border - the effect is striking and magnificent, and is quickly gaining in popularity). Then in the spring, the
beds will be ready for whatever you want to plant in them! Stone types available include: Tennessee and Alabama Fieldstone,
Mossy Stone, Crab Orchard Flagstone, Pennsylvania Bluestone, Cherokee Flagstone, Panola, Desert, Sugar Hill, and Quartz Flagstone,
Granite, Limestone, Cobblestones and River Rock.

Below is a series of pictures depicting a recent GVLDS
curb treatment using cobblestones for a border. ( On this job we also chose and installed the plants).

For those of you who don't have the time, knowledge, or desire to do the planting
yourself - we start with an in-depth site analysis and an in-depth consultation with you, to ascertain things such as: the
current condition and appearence of your yard, the micro-environment in which your home and yard exists, plants in your yard
that you like(and those that you don't), and your likes, dislikes, and needs in general, regarding a new landscape design.

Plants pictured throughout this site, and of course, on the plant preference page, are plants that we like to use. Usage is
based on evaluation criteria such as: maintenance requirements, suseptibility to pests, year-round interest, and multi-dimensional
appeal.
Color, contrast, unity, balance, longevity, maintenance requirements, and even fragrance, are all seriously considered.
After consultations, we come up with a design, plant list, and estimates and then meet with you again.

Tell a friend! If you don't need work done now, maybe someone you know does. We have great prices. We use standard formulas
to calculate pricing, but our prices are lower because we keep our overhead at a minimum.

We concentrate on what we do better than anybody else; we develop and shape planting beds
around your home and yard, then plant in them, bedding plants, shrubs and trees, in an artistic, balanced, complementary manner.
All work looks great, and will thrive for years to come.

We are better than the rest (at what we do and specialize in), at Less expense; We keep our overhead as low as possible and
keep our education constant, and WE LOVE WHAT WE DO!

God, Bless America, and bless all those who suffered and will suffer as a result of the tragedy that began on 9-11-2001!

In the installation phase, we first carefully extract existing plants, (so that they can be reused) and either integrate them
into the new design, or take them away, depending on what we decided upon.
We then cut well-defined beds and cultivate in, generous amounts of amendments. We then plant according to the design and
top-dress. The design is planted in such a way that it will require minimal maintenance, and will look great for years to
come.
